Looking back on 2018. BBQ and MercyMe

As 2018 comes to a close it is fun to look back and to see what all was learned and accomplished.

The big fun for us this year was being able to be work with the Texas Beef Council again while starting a new relationship with Hahn Public and their Apron Food Brand to film Season #1 of BBQuest starring Kelsey Pribilski. It was a fun to mix two of our favorite things in life BBQ and Film into one project. We traveled many miles across Texas eating great bbq and meeting fantastic people with wonderful stories.

It was even a bigger year for Brent. He was Co-writer (editor, composer, 2ndunit dir. & actor) on the 2018 hugely successful “I Can Only Imagine” starring Dennis Quaid, Cloris Leechman and Trace Atkins. It was based off the inspiring and unknown true story behind MercyMe’s beloved, chart topping song that brings hope to so many and was a gripping reminder of the power of true forgiveness. Box Office mojo reported it brought in $83 Million off of a $7 Million budget. Congrats to Brent and the rest of the crew with the Erwin Brothers.
